A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Timeline

I think it's probably best at this time for those of us former NSC-ers to keep our timelines as is... if not just for the sake of tracking who used to be there.

Anyway, I don't believe those who filed at TSC and then were automatically transfered to CSC changed their timeline info. We all filed with Nebraska, regardless of where we've been sent to now, so we may as well keep that info as is.

Naturally, this is everyone's own choice. Just my thoughts here.

08/15/2007 - K-1 Visa approved
09/01/2007 - Moved to Ohio

11/24/2007 - Married!
03/31/2008 - Received Green Card
05/03/2010 - Conditions removed

Finally applying for citizenship!

01/19/2016 - Filed N-400
01/25/2016 - NOA
02/17/2016 - Biometrics appointment
02/26/2016 - Receieved interview letter
04/01/2016 - Naturalization interview

I understand your point, but how will be get an accurate representation of processing times at each of the service centers if we don't accurately reflect the service center that is doing the work?

Too bad there's not a 'transfered to x service center' option.....

i dont even know if mine was transferred :(

If you haven't gotten the multiple emails (assuming you're set up for email notification), then you haven't been yet.... Someone posted as having received their hard copy confirmation of their transfer in the mail today... I'm going to check my mail as soon as I get home....

I changed both, with the same reference as you, but I will go with the majority just so we're consistent in how all of the stats are going to be reported.....

but all these files are at the California Service Center now...

I guess you can keep everything as "nebraska" and compare how long it takes to other Nebraska people - but bear in mind not everyone has been transferred from Nebraska - there are a few on this forum who have not been and I'd hazard a guess that others out there haven't been. Also, unless they remove Nebraska's address from the new forms, people will continue to mail things into that center in the future and perhaps not be transferred either. In my mind, if you are now at California, you should input California and go by their timelines.

I'd say leave Nebraska on the side in the profile, so people can see when you get approved in CSC, you were a NSC transfer, but otherwise...

But if y'all want me to keep the timeline as Nebraska, I will. I am no longer putting a whole lot of faith in thsoe timelines anyhow!

I don't think the timeline statistics are worth much currently for us anyway considering the stand still at the service centres. Not to mention none of us have any idea if we're going to still be processed by our current NOA1s or if we're going back to the bottom of the pile.

Really, the timeline info is the least of our worries right now. I'm just holding off on making any changes of any sort until we know more about what's going on.

(I will, however, again point out the fact that those who apply at TSC and are transfered to CSC seem to always keep their info as TSC.)
