I filed I-130 for my wife in first week of june while i was a green card holder thru a lawyer. Recently I became Citizen and filed I-129F including a request to upgrade my I-130 as citizen Status thru lawyer.

I dont know if my I-130 is upgraded or not. I didn't receive any communication/Notice from USCIS.

I called USCIS to find out status on upgrade. Cust Rep does not know if it's upgraded or not. Per her, there is no way she will know if the status is upgraded or not. Only information she provided to me is the status which is shown on website.

But one good thing she mentioned was that my priority date for I-130 will be june eventhough i upgraded it in Nov.

But recently, i saw online status that after isubmitting I-129F & upgrade request there were 2 touches on 11/20 & 12/01.

1) Does it mean that my application has been upgraded. What is the best way to find out if it's upgraded or not?

2) How many touches do we have before we get final approval.( 2 touches in 15 days :) ).

3) Does US sent Notice after the application is upgraded.

Appreciate you feedback.

Thanks

You should received a confirmation letter from USCIS that the petition was upgraded.

I suggest you send them another upgrade request. It shouldnt take that long to upgrade. The operator should have offered you a follow-up request.

Send them again a letter about the request to upgrade either by mail or fax.

Good luck!
