Hi all,

In October I submitted a Christmas story to our local Christian radio station for a contest they are running in November and December. Well, turns out that this week my story was chosen to be one the five for the week. So they have all 5 stories online for people to listen to and vote. Part of the prize is 4 roundtrip tickets to anywhere in the continental US. I am hoping that they will give the winner Northwest Air mileage points, then I could turn it into 2 trips to Africa! Anyways, I would love it if y'all would go to www.spirit1053.com, click on Holiday Stories, choose Week 5, listen to the stories and then vote (for mine please :) ) My story is Linda's Story - so now y'all know my "real" name LOL! Voting ends on Saturday the 6th. You do need to sign up for their newsletter.

Thanks Perseverance. I actually get to see her this coming Saturday for the first time since her birth. My son and daughter-in-law have seen her about 5 times already this year. I am so excited! I have seen lots of pics but can't wait to hold her in my arms again.

Thanks for voting Paul!!! I am definitely going in June regardless of whether I win or not. I'll see what I can do about going through JFK, last time I went through Atlanta.

September 18th, 2004 Victor arrives in USA, Lord willing.

October 9th, 2004, we become husband and wife

October 25th, 2004 I learn that I'm pregnant.

June 7th, 05 gave birth to a boy child.

July 5th, 05 Victor packs he suitcase and leaves for good.

August 2005- I file for divorce. and withdraw immigration paperwork.

I was hoping to find out today but I didn't get a call. I thought maybe that meant that I didn't win, but when I went to the website it said the winner was TBD. I wonder if it's 'cause I had so many votes from all over the world LOL. SO and his friends all voted from Senegal and they emailed all their friends all over in West Africa, with most from Nigeria. I am friends with one of the DJ's and she knows I married last month so I'm sure she'll explain why there are so many Nigerian voters LOL! Maybe tomorrow I'll know.

As far as wedding pics, still gotta wait until my computer gets fixed. I did get my internet turned back on, well it will be tomorrow so that was one step! I started my new job today so everything will be getting back on track very soon.
