I don't think the congressman was any help in terms of expediting this, but they were a great moral support and gave me a better insight into this process. I highly recommend those waiting for their approvals contact your congressman, but don't have high expectations unless you have a genuine expedite criteria or are outside of processing times....

hahaha....CJVasani, dude i am so happy for you. you cannot even imagine how happy i am for you..seriously. this approval is very well deserved. congratulations to you and your wife and may NVC completes your case soon. do you have all the paperwork from your wife for NVC? i saw someone last night being out of NVC in 19 days...no kidding...good luck to you!! again, very happy for you..

you were absolutely right...only one touch and bang it was done...only if it hadn't taken 9 months, but then again I am just happy to move forward.

CJ-G, thanks man...it felt unreal when i saw the txt message on my phone (that's how I had configured my mail account). I hope you get this feeling soon....you are not far away.

cmnb - your positive attitude has always helped me maintain mine in this process...thanks soooo much for your support.

I called Anu in the middle of the night over there and she is soooo excited...just went to sleep an hour ago.

Congratz! very very good news. I have to admit I was getting anxious I didnt see other approvals today. and to see yr case approved was very good news. for u, because u were getting pessimistic lately, and for the rest of us waiting, because it sows things r moving towards our files. wish u to be done with NVC as fast as possible.

(break in the process- Lee comes to spend holidays here 22 dec-5th jan 2009)

DS 3032 generated :? ?

DS 3032 sent : 26 dec 2008 (friend sends it, based on how fast Ds-3032 was generated for Sracastillo and others who had same NOA2 date as me-risky, but worked)

received AOS package and IIN number in mail : 29 dec 2008 (same friend picks up mail and sends us the IIN)

pay the AOS bill online: 29 dec 2008

AOS shows as PAID: 30 dec 2008

my husband goes back and bags with our papers get lost : 5th jan 2009

package IV fee bill generated and paid online: 7th jan 2009

recieved bags and papers: 9th jan 2009

sent AOS package: 9th jan 2009

package IV bill shows PAID and sending package IV : 12 jan 2009

case complete: jan 20th

interview march 30th 2009

I129F

NVC mails I129F package to bucharest embasy

up to this day, no package received at embasy here -one more reason to prove in my case I129F was just useless
