Hey all! just a quick update on us. We had received a RFE for medical and apparently I was just short on my sponsering Alastair (went down to part time work) We had the medical done and my dad co-sponsered, all info was sent back and it took them a month to touch it again however they did send us another RFE, now they are looking for evidence of bona-fide marrage...ugh why dont they just ask for everything at once!?!? we are now gathering info to send back yet again. will update again once we have more info to share.

Don't you show evidence of your marriage when you go for an interview? I've never heard of an RFE to show evidence like that. What a pain for you!

Don't you show evidence of your marriage when you go for an interview? I've never heard of an RFE to show evidence like that. What a pain for you!

our case had been transferred to California, so im assuming no formal interview, at this point I believe it would have been easier if we did had to go in person.

yeah i had an RFE for medical ... i just made the medical all over again cos they lost our file...now we r waiting...and yeah i was transferred to CSC where the "easy" cases go.. yeah right!!!!

We had our interview in the AM on 6/22/2009. Interview took 30 minutes. She asked me how we met and how husband proposed. Then she asked us what we dislike about each other. We first laughed before we answered. She had hubby fill out extra forms because he had a dipolmatic visa so he had to waive his dipolmatic immunity etc... She said she would approve the application for that day (and said we are within the two year range so she would give hubby a conditional greencard even though our 2 yr anniversary was two days away!!) but would have a supervisor look over it to finalize application. In the evening on Monday she called hubby's celly to apologize and say she forgot to have him complete and sign one additional form. So she said she would mail the form and send it to us and then we will send it back to her. Hopefully this delay means we will be able to get the 10yr card instead. We will see what happens.

Hi Diazy and everyone else,

2 months after the interview, 1 and 1/2 month after the RFE and 2 weeks after the infopass appointment, I finally received an e-mail that "Card Production Ordered". I guess this means I am approved for the green card, right? I did not get anything by mail though.
