12/19/08- Check cashed by USCIS

12/27/08-Biometrics appt letter recieved

01/05/09- CRIS email notification-I-485 Case transferred to CSC

01/06/09- Biometrics complete

03/02/09- AP received via USPS

03/05/09- EAD received via USPS

04/27/09- Received CRIS email - Green Card has been ordered on 4/25/09- Petition Approved!!

04/28/09- Received CRIS email 'Welcome Letter' mailed

05/04/2009- Conditional 2 year Green Card received

hello to all my fellow december filers..finally after months of hibernation im back at vj again..just filed my aos last dec 4 and i hope that everything will go smoothly..goodluck to us all!!!

4/14/12- 3rd yr as PR

1/17/12- mailed packet

Biometrics-- waived

4/25/12- interview- passed & took my oath the same day!!-- US Citizen!!!

My N400 Journey took 3months & 8days!:)

Hey Aravis, great news regarding the house! Congratulations, hope you'll be super happy there!

I think you gave me the wrong email... is it really dennisandandrea ?

We had a ton of good news yesterday. :) All three NOAs arrived in the mail and are available for on-line tracking. I tried to follow the link to the timeline, but it's giving me a not found error. My gmail account is dennisandandrea at gmail.com if you will just add me.

We also got word on our house. The bank accepted our offer yesterday (the house is a foreclosure, so it's bank owned)! We were pre-approved for our mortgage and in the offer we said that we would close in 10 days (it makes us more attractive as buyers. We know the bank is taking an almost 30k loss on this house and we offered below their asking price, so we had to make ourselves as attractive as possible). Now we just have to close and then the house is ours. :)

On the spreadsheet are you putting the day that you received your NOAs or the day that the NOAs are dated?

I think that putting the NOA date makes more sense. That's when USCIS officially says they start the processing...the received date only tells us how long the postal service is taking that day. :)

Hmmm, I don't know... what makes more sense? Maybe both? Feel free to edit...

On the spreadsheet are you putting the day that you received your NOAs or the day that the NOAs are dated?

I added a column for NOA1 received date...it can't hurt to have both on there. :)

First - Why would you wait 6 months b/4 filing AOS?

Second - About this lawyer business... just how much money have I saved so far in this process by NOT hiring someone else to do this for us?

08/27/07 --- NOA1 Arrives from CSC and I create my account profile on the USCIS.Gov web-site (the clock starts)!!!

02/05/08 --- After 191 days NOA2 (Approval) comes at last!!!!

2/14/08 --- NVC sends letter saying that it's on the way to the US Embassy in Bangkok

2/25/08 --- She receives Packet 3 from the Embassy

3/29/08 --- She receives Packet 4 with interview date (July 11th).

3/30/08 --- I e-mail the Embassy asking to make the date earlier because I've already got our tickets for June 13th!!!

5/6/08 --- No help from the Embassy. Rebooked tickets and vacation till September.

5/21/08 --- Embassy calls her and moves interview to May 27th!!!!! You have got to be kidding me!!!

9/21/08 --- POE San Francisco!!!!

12/8/08 --- Married!!!!

12/15/08 --- Mail AOS + AP + EAD package to Chicago

12/28/08 --- Come back from vacation and find AOS/AP/EAD NOA 1 and Bio App notices in the mailbox!!!

1/13/09 --- Bio Appt

4/22/09 --- AOS Interview "APPROVED"!!!

3/04/2011 --- OUR BABY IS BORN... We have a son!!!!!

3/10/2011 --- Mail I-751 application to lift conditions on residency

3/12/2011 --- I-751 Package received by CSC

3/14/2011 --- NOA 1

3/21/2011 --- NOA 2 (Biometrics Appt 4/18/2011)

5/27/2011 --- ROC Approved. 10 Year Green Card arrived 6/04/2011

Okay I understand the one for $1,010 but what is the one for $355 for? EAD and AP and Biometrics are included in the $1,010 right????

OK. Both of my checks ($355 and $1010) just got cashed.

I'm filing from a F-1 status so i had to file a I-130 (which cost $355). hope that makes sense

12/01/2008 - Sent Aos (I-130, I-485, I-765..)

12/03/2008 - package received

12/11/2008 - checks cashed

12/15/2008 - NAOs received dated 12/10/08

12/20/2008 - biometrics letter received dated 12/12/08

12/27/2008 - biometrics appointment @12:00pm----> Done.

02/02/2009 - NAO 2 received for initial interview dated 01/27/09

02/23/2009 - EAD received

03/11/2009 - Interview appointment @ 1030am----> Approved

03/16/2009 - Received welcome letter and e-mail from CRIS stating: Card production ordered

03/23/2009 - Received Green Card in the mail

Yay, just received all my NOAs by mail this afternoon! :D

Notice Date: 12-11

I also created an online account at USCIS and can see all my cases online, which is great! Hope you all receive yours quickly too.

Am I supposed to receive another NOA with the Biometrics date, or do I have to call them to book it? (I am in a hurry to go out and won't have time to read it now... hehe)
