Hello! Congratulations on all the progresses!

Sorry if this is an obvious question, but if you have to hand back you EAD and AP at your interview, does that mean you can't work nor travel for a couple more weeks until you receive the GC?

What if you haven't received those documents yet at the time of the interview?

Thanks for your point of view!

Once you are approved you can get a stamp in your passport immediately and can use that to work. If they need additional info (like tax returns or something they asked you for during interview and you did not have it at the interview) then you have to provide that info before they approve you and send your GC. As soon as you are approved you can get a stamp as proof. Hope that helps.

I got my biometrics appointment!!!!

The notice is dated on February 13th and I received it today on the mail!.

the biometrics appointment is scheduled for march 6 in Alexandria, VA.

my case was transfered in january to CSC. So do you think it will still take long to get the EAD and GC?

And from what I understand maybe I am not having an interview?

I had plans to fly to Mexico on may but I would not like to miss my interview, do you think is safe to schedule a trip

with just the AP approved but I dont know If I need to be here or if they will take my AP?

Thank you for any help you can give me!

Hi evebody I really need to hear some more opinnions about something. ...

I got my interview date but I didnt get any RFE on anything so in the list of papers that we need to bring for the interview. So I am thinking to just do the same thing I sent to with the AOS forms which is to answer thepart 1 one the I 693 and the copy of the vaccination worksheet to bring to the interview. Since my medical examination was less than one year ago. I did in aug 2008

here is what they say

- A completed medical examination (form - 163) and vaccination supplement ina sealed envelope (unless already submitted).

Should I get another medical exam all over again just to get the worksheet transcribed to the I 693?

AS much as I read about as much as I dont know what to do nothing is really clear for me =(

We have more good news! I met Dennis, my mom, and one of my brothers for lunch right after work (I get off work at 1pm). I walked up to the table and Dennis said "I tried to text you a picture, but it didn't work...so I'll just show you in real life!" Then he handed me his EAD card! :) Woo-hoo!! Now he can find a job instead of sitting around the apartment being bored. :dancing:

And everyone who is still waiting...we have no on-line updates to either EAD or AP. The AP shows last updated 12/12, the EAD is 12/31...so keep your hopes up, there is definitely something wrong with CRIS updates. The EAD and AP could be on their way to you right now! :flower:

See my timeline for my K-1 and AOS/EAD/AP details.

Well, good news finally. Although the USCIS updates online don't seem to work fine lately, I got the AP document in the mail today. After receiving an RFE back in January(missing IRS transcripts) and sending them back I assume my case has been resumed, otherwise the AP would have not been sent. Am I right?

Congratulations to everyone out there on their AP's,EAD's and interview's!!!!

Congrats on the progress everyone and good luck on the interview tomorrow Soancika.

I got my EAD today, but am a little worried as I can't find any job postings in my profession. At all. Nothing. I think I will have to downgrade a little and try to find whatever is possible, admin jobs or so, just to get busy.

I am worried about evidence of financial mingling. We were a bit slow and did not really join accounts, etc. I have bills in both our names though. I guess it is absolutely necessary to have a joint account and try to do the joint taxes before the interview, right? Or is health insurance and bills enough? I mean, the interview came too fast!
