Wow, I was having a look at the November filers and lots of them already have interviews scheduled.

That's like, 3 months from 'package sent' to interview.

Hopefully we will have some lucky people here as well!

Ohhh! I truly hope so, that would be wonderful!

Me, too! Especially since we probably won't have an interview...it would be really nice to have his green card in February or March. Right now I'd very happily settle for his EAD, though.

See my timeline for my K-1 and AOS/EAD/AP details.

Is it really possible to get a green card so fast? Then we wouldn't even need EAD or AP right?

I posted over a week ago about going to my local USCIS office and trying to expedite my I-131 Advanced Parole... remember the mean ole lady? Well she wasnt so mean after all, because she called today to say it was approved on Jan 9th, and I should see it in my mailbox this week! Wahooo! This means my husband and I can travel outside the USA while waiting for our green card interview. this is awesome, since when he first arrived he didnt plan to stay for so long and left a ton of stuff undone back in Manila (business, dog, clothes, etc!) Anyway, i logged into the online case tracking, and the I-131 status still says the last touch was 12/31/2008 , which is strange - I guess it doesnt mean much because it was approved already and it still reflects as pending.

04/20/2004 Got married in the Philippines, and lived between here and there

10/15/2008 Husband arrives in USA on B1/B2 Tourist Visa

12/19/2008 Sent I-130 & I-485 AOS package via USPS Priority

12/21/2008 Package delivered

12/26/2008 NOA's dated for I-1485, I-130, I-131, I-765

03/30/2009 Obtained Green Card

01/24/2012 Mailed in N-400 for Naturalization

01/31/2012 Check for $680 was cashed

I know...I was kinda freaked out when she asked for my cell phone #. I thought she was gonna meddle with my file and do something bad since she acted so mean, but anyway, looks like shes just doing her job. Good for her and good for me! hahahaha!

Welcome Isa!

Hi everybody, I havent received my biometrics appointment, and it seems must of you had!, I just received a letter telling me I was transfered to California Office.

Do you think this is normal, I just should wait? or should I call USCIS?

I just came home from my bio appt... went very well, only thing was that you have to fill out this sheet and it asks for your SSN #, I just got mine but don't keep it on me and it's not memorized, so I told the guy I didn't have it which was OK...
