I'm getting worried because I mailed my package to Chicago on Dec. 17th, priority mail so 2-3 biz days. When I track it online, (I mailed it from Philly) it states it went from Philly-Jersey-Atlanta!? Why is my package in Atlanta when it was supposed to go to Chicago!? Seems out of the way just a bit!!

That is odd...I wonder if the plane got diverted for whether conditions in one of it's originally planned stops. 'Tis the season for airport closures. :)

PHEW (Big sigh of relief) just tracked my AOS package and it left the local office in IL for delivery... I have no idea why it travelled all over the place instead of direct to Chicago.... but lesson learned next time I will spend a bit more $$ and do next-day delivery to save me the stress!!

Hi everyone,

I got to second-guessing my AOS application we sent off last week for my husband. We did not submit the vaccine supplement form I-693 with our application but did include the G-3025 copy he received when he got his medical with our K-1 visa. I did this based on the topic at http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=101202.

I am curious if the rest of you did this or submitted the I-693. My husband had the infamous "brown packet" which was turned over at POE when he moved to America. I am now wondering if we will get an RFE for this...I guess we will wait and see.

I also second guessed myself too.... I only submitted the G-3025 and also a little note to explain all of my vaccines are up to date as per my medical; and the brown envelope should second that. I am hoping for no RFE but if I get it will have to do the dreaded I-693.... I just decided to take the chance with it!! Alot of people do not get an RFE, some do...

Yeah, I made a mistake of sending everything through certified mail so I can't see delivery confirmation, but the way they explained it to me in the post office is that I should be getting something in the mail saying the package was delivered... But based on what I've been seeing I'm hoping to get our NOAs in the mail next week, or the week after at the latest (if delayed due to holidays)... I sent the packet off on Dec. 12th, so it was probably delivered 12/15-12/16... But I agree the spreadsheet is great to track progress and calm you down when nothing comes in the mail just yet...

You should have received a confirmation number/tracking number if you sent the package certified. If you have that, go the USPS's website and request that you receive all (including previous) updates on your package. This will allow you to view when and who received you package.

Thanks... It worked, I put the tracking number in and what do you know it tracked the package. The lady at the post office for some reason told me I couldn't get delivery confirmation or something... But yeah it was delivered on Dec. 14th (Sunday???)... So hopefully I get something back soon.

I have my biometrics appointment on Jan 01/08 at 12:00pm, anyone knows how long it takes? I have to catch a plane at 5pm, as long as I leave the office by 2:30pm I think I'll be fine.

It will partially depend on your office...but most people have said it took like 15-30 minutes.

So I mailed back our Biometrics Appointment letter yesterday to reschdeule for another date to the Rhode Island Office like the form instructed. Thanks to Express Mail they received it this morning at 5AM, so hopefully within the week we should know our new Biometrics Appointment date. Small set back... hopefully it's the only one. Once I know our new information I will update the spreadsheet, right now it has the dates for the appointment we are not able to make it to.

We submitted the I-693. We weren't under too much of a time crunch to file, so we waited the extra time to get an I-693 from Dr. Arnold. It seems pretty arbitrary whether they will accept just the G-3025 or if they require the I-693...sometimes they RFE for the I-693, sometimes they just go with the G-3025. Hopefully it will work out for you!
