AOS FILERS: DECEMBER 2008

I called the USCIS hotline about my case. Received 'Welcome letter' April 3, until now I don't have my GC.

So the customer service made a request about my permanent card and told me that they will contact me within 45 days.

that's another month or so delay..huuuhuh

just a few words to let ya'll know that we had the interview today and we were approved.

I got the stamp in my passport and a letter having the result for the interview,also information regarding removal of conditions.

So,we're done until Feb 2011:)

Another quick message to say that I got the approval email for EAD!!!!!!! I can finally get a job, after 15 months of nothing, I am gonna love working........well at least for a while anyway! Again good luck to all still awaiting, and Diazy, things are moving!

We called 2 days ago. They said that everything looks OK and that our case is in the normal processing time.I hope we get approvals for EAD and AP soon!

Went to the mail box today and found hubby's interview letter for June 22nd. Two days before our second anniversary! These people want every dime that they can get their hands on (removing conditions). They are not playing. We are excited though. Diazy... you are next! Watch out now.

Hi everyone,

We like to report that the interview went well yesterday 05/06/09 and my wife was approved on the spot. I asked about the stamp on the passport and the interviewer told us that they did not stamp passports anymore, that was done when it used to take months for the card to be make and received. He told us the card should be in our mail box within 2 weeks. Also because we been married over 2 years, no conditional card.

We like to thank everyone in this forum for all the help you provided us, and our best wishes to all that are waiting on cases.

2 days!!! It is not fair. You should have a 10-year green card! I hope they would close their eyes on these 2 days.

Infopass appointment today to try and find out why it has been over 8 weeks since our "approved" AOS interview and we have no notice, information, or greencard. The immigration information officer at the window said he would go talk to IO that did our interview....he came back out and IO said busy all day, cannot spare any time to look into it. Information officer too my phone number and said they will call. I will hold my bnreath for that! I did look at a paper that information officer had about our case and it said "in audit". Anybody have any idea what this may mean? I have not received notice on the USCIS website since case was received, I guess I will just sit and wonder what is going on while I wait on the IO to find time to see what is going on.

Again, does anyone know what "in audit" means.

Well I guess its time for me to eat my words. Just got call from USCIS. They got my wifes AOS approved (Green Card on the way) and got my step-daughters I-130 approved and on its way to Visa Center. The IO was super nice and understanding to my frustration.

I also just received e-mail from uscis. " Green card production ordered".
