If you're from Brittan, the Christianity you might know from your youth is fading fast.

It may be respected... but no one shows up at the doors on Sunday.

In theory at least doesn't make any difference whether a person is gay or heterosexual or even indifferent, just as long as they are not having sex with anyone else or with themselves for that matter. Sex is only permitted between a lawful married man and woman without any restriction for the purpose of procreation of children. And not only procreation, that is just the start of it, proper education and the welfare of the children are equally important. Wonder if that includes tons of video games, cars, and other forms of entertainment?

Celibacy has a simple meaning, no sex in any form, even a sin to think about it. Ha, was teased at one time in my life for going against my church's teaching for practicing birth control. Guess I was.

Conclusion: Len + Bren are sinners and are going to hell. Oh well. ####### happens.

U sinner, that's what gets me, that people look at it like a mean for procreation. Procreation my brown behind, it is what it is, if it was meant for just procreation people wouldn't feel #######. Is like saying that a great and expensive dinner in one of the top restaurants is the same thing that a freaking BigMac! both are food right? and will end up in the same place and look the same down the drain.

Closeminded people, read other literature than a religious book and travel to another places even if it's not for a religious gathering! gosh!

Why on earth would I 'know' why priest-child-sex thing is predominantly a male child thing? I don't even know if that is true, or if that is something you 'believe' to be true. Of course it is a pedophile, unless the child is not a child but an adult, in which case, how is it a 'child-sex- thing?

How that relates to anything to do with whether we should adopt the principle of allowing civil gay marriage I have no idea - oh, yes that would be to use the "Oh, how absolutely obnoxious and 'wrong' being gay is" isn't it?

Personally, I don't give much credence to the 'celibate' role of the priest notion anyway, because the whole thing plays into the 'original sin' and the inherent 'soiledness' of women, which is not a notion I can hold with at all. Priests have as much right to a sex life as anyone else. No one has a right to a sex life with a child, period!
