HELL, Mich. They're planning a hot time Tuesday in Hell.

Tuesday bears the once-in-a-millennium date of six-six-oh-six, or, in brief, six-six-six - a number that, according to the Bible's Book of Revelations, signifies the devil.

And nobody is more fired up than John Colone, the town's mayor and owner of a souvenir shop.

He plans to sell various items with the triple six, including T-shirts and mugs.

Live entertainment and a costume contest are also planned.

Colone has even been in touch with radio stations as far away as San Diego and Seattle that are raffling off trips to Hell in honor of six-six-six.

The town, located 60 miles west of Detroit, became officially known as Hell on October 13, 1841.

I remember, some years ago, I landed at DTW at like 1AM and took a cab. Somewhere in the middle of the city, I realized I had no cash and asked the cab driver to stop at an ATM. He looked at me like I was crazy. He goes "you're not from around here are ya, son?".
