Hey everybody!

I have a couple of questions regarding my upcoming bio appt..!

-My appt is scheduled till december 9th, is there anyway i can do my biometrics before the scheduled appt... and If i could what is the benefit on doing them earlier.

-How can i check if my local office (chula vista, ca) does walk ins for biometrics

any info would be helpful

I've seen where LOTS of people have done early walkins successfully. Some ASC have Wednesday for walkin day. Sure doesn't hurt to try.

If the appointment place has a phone number, you can try calling up and asking them. Otherwise, I agree with the last post, on Visa Journey we have heard of MANY people successfully going in for walk-ins for their bio, before the actual appointment. No one at the office even cares what date or time is on the appointment notice.

I would think that a bio done early would move your case along faster, but not sure. Can't hurt though, I'm sure! Good luck!

You need the biometrics appointment letter to get in, at least Claudeth did.

Tomorrow is Monday, just call your nearest USCIS office based on what was written in your bio letter. I guess, it depends on the situation either it is busy or not.....just try to call them tomorrow and if you're allowed to go walk-in that would be great. good luck!

one of the girls here from Hawaii did early bio..i guess the answer is yes, particularly if you have other important errands to do on your schedule bio..if you are near on that office better drive and bring all the necessary documents and just ask if they you can do it earlier..but try to call first if there is contact info...I think the benefit is they might submit to the proper office and might have an early approval or decision..
