Updating my NOA date, i just recived my NOA letter today( 12/27/08), but on the letter states that notice date is 12/23/08.
FYI, the letter comes from Lee's summit, MO 64002.

on the letter,they asked me to verify m date of birth and my address, and also said will be scheduled to appear for an interview at my local USCIS field office. Just want to check if it's pretty much same as other's who had got the letter.

Mine is the same. Received NOA on 12/27 and notice date is 12/22/08. Everything else is as you described.

Did anyone who had their application forwarded ever get a delivery confirmation from USPS? Or did you just know it had arrived because your check was cashed? My application was forwarded from Lincoln, NE 10 days ago and since then there have been no further tracking updates. USPS said they are willing to investigate why it has not been delivered but I didn't see the point in pursuing that if everyone is in the same boat.

Did anyone who had their application forwarded ever get a delivery confirmation from USPS? Or did you just know it had arrived because your check was cashed? My application was forwarded from Lincoln, NE 10 days ago and since then there have been no further tracking updates. USPS said they are willing to investigate why it has not been delivered but I didn't see the point in pursuing that if everyone is in the same boat.

I mailed my N-400 to Lincoln, NE on 12/10 via delivery confirmation + return receipt. According to USPS my envelope arrived in Nebraska 12/12 and was directly forwarded to Phoenix Lockbox Center. On www.usps.com it shows that my application was delivered in Arizona on 12/15. I contacted my local Post Office where they could print out a detailed info about the "journey" of my application. Also, I contacted USPS by email and received a reply. Meanwhile I received my return receipt, stamped by USCIS Lockbox Phoenix on Dec 15th.

My check was cashed 12/22 and my NOA (I-797C) was mailed by NBC Missouri on 12/19 with a Priority Date of 12/15.

I mailed my application Dec 1, On Dec 15 USPS said it had been forwarded on Dec 10. They could not tell to where it had been forwarded, but I assumed Phoenix. Today Dec 29 USPS has the same message on their track and confirmed site. The check was cashed Dec 24 so I quit trying to track it. USCIS changing addresses sure screwed up my application. It cost me three weeks of delay.

Argh! my application has gone out... but guess what I just found on the floor her by my desk? The passport photos! They must have fallen out of the package when i was sealing everything up (i'd had trouble with the paperclips getting stuck on the envelope)

How much of an issue do people think this is? Perhaps I can wait until they cash the check (and hence get a reference number) and then send them in??? or will I get an RFE? will they cash my check but reject my application?

USPS noted that it was forwarded but no further confirmation that it was delivered to final destination. It took more than 2 weeks before check was cashed and NOA received.

I will wait till they cash it and issue a receipt. Then, you have a case# to reference to when you call to advise them and ask them what the standard procedures are. I will send it in prior to RFE.

You can bring it to Interview.

Actually I did send only N400 application form. No copy of Green Card, no photos, no other documents.

I brought all of those to Interview, and it was fine.

I just checked N400 instructions, and I missed "Check with M-476".

But it was fine as long as you have those during the Interview.
