Any chance for a same day oath?

There is no same oath in my local office; I just hope all goes well. The lady who is going to do the interview with me is very nice and considered. Her supervisor was/is so mean to me since day one.

Hello everyone, It is my turn now to report a successful interview and same day oath yesterday!

Everything when every well and smoothly...

Though my interview was schedule for 8:45, I was in and out by 8:05 the whole thing took about 15 mins.

I was approved, and I did the afternoon oath.

At last, I am done with the oath ceremony.

It was fast. We were let in at 7am and the ceremony started at 9am and ended at 9:30am.

We took oath. Judge delivered a message as well as the Deputy Regional Director of USCIS.

Watched Pres. Obama's message to new citizens and music video with the song God Bless US.

I was out that place at 9:45am with my certificate on hand.

Hi Guys,

I can now say with certainty that the journey is over. Thank you all for your support, this forum provided great comfort to me.

The ceremony today in NYC was very efficiently run, I was very impressed with the efficiency. The ceremony was at 500 Pearl Street, directly opposite 26 Federal Plaza. When the ceremony ended we gave the USCIS employees a standing ovation (The oath ceremony was very well done). The Federal Judge gave quite a moving speech about his father who was also an immigrant from France.

148 people from 49 different countries. :)

It feels great, I applied for an expedited passport at the post office because they said it takes six to eight weeks and I will be out of the country in August.

Thanks for updating our status, and wishing the best to everyone remaining. DECEMBER FILERS ARE THE BEST!!!! :)
