I was asked this question. I said congress, he marked it correct and moved on to the next question. I passed so one answer is enough.

i know there are some questions say answer one of them. but those questions did say answer one of them.

My interview is tomorrow at alt office. i just want to make sure. also my interview is tomorrow afternoon.

i really hope i can to the oath the same day, but since my interview time is in the afternoon, i don't know if they will let me do the same day or not.

how to answer the question who make sfederal laws?

any of the answer:

congress

sentate and house of representatives

us or national legislature

or all above?

also the question what does the judicial branch do?

reviews laws

explains laws

resolves disputes

decides if a law goes against the constitution

any one or all above?

Thanks

Thanks

Chinababe.... I would not worry about it... those answers are for you to say one of them not all...just learn the one you feel more comfortable with... good luck tomorrow...

I was asked this question. I said congress, he marked it correct and moved on to the next question. I passed so one answer is enough.

That's a relief, I hope other IO's do this as well :star: Like on the question...

What does the judicial branch do?

▪ reviews laws

▪ explains laws

▪ resolves disputes (disagreements)

▪ decides if a law goes against the Constitution

To put this all in a sentence, you'd have to say -

"The judicial branch reviews and explains laws, resolves disputes and decides if a law goes against the Constitution."

It's just confusing, since the question DOES NOT ASK what is one thing the judicial branch does...

The above is not legal advice.

It is either from research or merely my opinion.

I think for the judicial branch question, we better off just answer all of them just in case. i know it's hard to remember, but you never know what the IO's standard.

i can only hope that i won't get that question.

You have to read a short sentence and then write down the answer. It's not hard. You'll be fine, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Yep, "proper attire" ... something nice! I'm going to wear a collared blouse and black slacks  Yes, it's officially pathetic. I already know what I want to wear to my interview. IF I ever get one

Total pool of mere 100 KNOWN questions most of which have ONE WORD answers, and on top of that, you are asked only 10 of those 100, AND ON TOP OF THAT you are ALLOWED TO GET 4 OF THEM WRONG!!!!!!! WOW. Can it be any simpler than that? You people are acting like you have never taken a test ever in your lives before. Grow up. And calm down. This test does not require a preparation exceeding 2 hours by a person of normal IQ in any case.
