Pass the interview and oath for coming tuesday

Civis Test

who is president now

who is commander in chief of the military

what are two major two parties

what political party president now

three original states

one state borders mexico

Only 1 issue about selective service and i told her i didn't know that and she told me this is problem i will go to supervisior and then she told me how old when u get ur green card i say 27 then she told me we don't need to bother supervisor. I was out of status from 23 to 26 years age.

Everything else is very good and now waiting for coming tuesday for oath on 03/17/09

anyone else waiting to hear from blessing2us and jackjack. Can not wait to hear all the details. Good luck to both of you.

Dear all, I passed my interview as well this morning. I was asked the six questions listed below:

1) What is freedom of religion?

2) How many U.S. Senators are there?

3) When must all men register for the selective Service?

4) When was the Constitution Written?

5) What ocean is on the East Coast of the United States?

6) Name one state that borders Canada.

I did not expect the interviewer would ask me the 3rd question since I am not a man. So when she asked me this question, I just gave the shorter answer "at age eithteen" . Then she asked me"Could you give me a specific answer?" So I had to give her the

2nd answer "between eighteen and twenty-six." It seems some interviewers are not satisfied with only one simple answer we give.

The sentence I was asked to write is very simple: We pay taxes. And she asked me to read aloudly "We want to follow our government".

My interview schedule was 11:00, but the interviewer met me at about 11:15. After I passed it, she said it was late, otherwise I could take the oath in the afternoon. Then she asked me if I could attend the ceremony on next Tuesday? Of course I would. So I got my oath time before 3 years annversary. I am so lucky and blessed.

Stella, Thank you very much..... I just don't know what to do anymore about not receiving my interview letter. When I called, they told me I have been put in queue for interview two weeks ago!!!! Whereas people who applied after me are receiving their interview notice. This is crazy.

Please make sure that this o.k. and that they don't have grounds to revoke your citizenship later on.

I can understand so well that it's hard to wait. I would be impatient, too. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I guess we have to remember that this is our last immigration journey.

I understand your frustration, but on the good side I think that if I got mine yesterday..yours should be getting to you anytime this week... the same as for the other December Atlanta's fillers... :)

i just find out that my interview date is the same day i have final exam for one of my classes this semester.

anybody has any idea about rescheduling the interview?

I really don't want to resechedule the interview since i have been waiting so long the the whole immigration process.

However, now it is the time to study for the citizenship test.

Beside the 100 questions on the flash cards, what else do i need to study?

If i study for only the 100 questions, can i pass the interview?

I really don't want to resechedule the interview since i have been waiting so long the the whole immigration process.

That's all I've been studying. Plus I've been reading over the English language part at the end of the brochure. But since you're studying in the States, I'm sure your English is good enough to pass the interview. Good luck on everything!
