I am guessing from maz's timeline that it will be 2-3 weeks before interview letter comes and a interview in early May. If it was sonner that would be okay, the passort application is tired of waiting

How many times we all been thru this "Name Check"? LOTS by this time as we are now finishing this immigration process. Why would your name just now come up as "not good?" Thinking your stressing way too much....relax, it will come This should be the easy process out of them all.

I dont know if my name has been checked here before. I did IR-1 DCF in London, and I only got a UK police certificate.

I don’t want to jump the gun but....

I do believe that when Biometrics are taken they also run a name check...........at least a few times from start to end in this immigration nightmare.

I have only had my fingerprints taken when I arrived here. I have no idea about any of the checks they did. I am sure I am just being paranoid...lol

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that you will get your letter soon. I would think that they would have done a name check when you applied for your greencard. They asked for other names used back then, too, didn't they?

I feel almost confident that a name check has already been done and if nothing has changed.....I mean if you haven’t became a serial killer, went to jail, finger prints taken, booked, etc, ect.....lol, you shouldn’t have too much to worry about. The letter will come, might be slow....but we are here to support you do a little dance if we have too.
