Jamie, the back of the check is not showing SRC, or MSC number. Also, the stamp was by JP Morganchase in Lewisville, TX, so I assume my application is in TX. maybe I just need to wait for the NOA!

VSC is doing what they always do... they don't call themselves the Very Slow Center for nothing you know!

I didn't even know about this until I read your post. Anyway, I looked up the image of my check and the same case...Lewisville, TX.

Not trying to make fun of you and I accept that everybody gets excited by different things, but this hurry of wanting to check the status of application through numbers on the back of check instead of just waiting a few days for the NoA letter to arrive is hilarious for me lol. We are all permanent residents and it really doesn't matter even if it takes 1-2 months longer than everybody else to get naturalized so I am just waiting patiently.

This forum is very informative and I thank you all for that.

Now, if I'd have done this with my I-751... guess what, I'd still not be able to track my case down to this day.

That's right - I NEVER received an NOA for my I-751.

Perhaps under the new process (which we're going through as evidenced by the fact it's ending up in Lewisville, TX) they're not putting the tracking number on the back like they used to.

So I just have to hope I actually get an NOA this time.

Well the back of my check does have a faint SRC number on it... but the darn chase stamp goes over the top of it so I can't read most of the numbers! So I really do have to wait on the NOA.

Alwayswin, lol...I can't help but to be nervous when dealing with USCIS. There is no much logic with them. For example, I have seen many cases where applicants received their NOA before getting their check cashed, and I am still waiting for mine. :dance:

Alwayswin, lol...I can't help but to be nervous when dealing with USCIS. There is no much logic with them. For example, I have seen many cases where applicants received their NOA before getting their check cashed, and I am still waiting for mine. :dance:

And like I said... I never got my NOA for my I-751... well not entirely true, after opening a service request it did eventually come.... 10 months after I filed...
