What music are you listening to in the process? MENA BOARD

I am no longer in the immigration process..the immediate process of waiting but there was a alot of music that got me through the time when I was separated and in the process. In light of the last months, I may or may not be adjusting status as alot has happened and it remains to be seen if we still stay together.. I am using music to get through grief and the loss of my child... to communicate to myself support in light of my marriage,... to help me endure all kinds of different things. I like to watch movies sometimes and gather meaning from the messages.

Some of my favorites in getting meaning out of are TUSCANY SUN about how sometimes our wishes come true but arent in the way we thought. MOONSTRUCK about the power of love and its lightening strike qualities. Vive La Algerie about a girl over coming her life and taking care of her mom

I often wonder if people listen to music and somehow attach memories of times of their lives to them and go back in time when they hear it.

This is a song that talks about how hurt I feel for trying so hard and still not being able to break through things in my marriage

There are alot of songs that remind me of times with my children...I find music comforting. During the immigration process I listened to alot Paul Young and songs we both liked.

I wonder if any of you have favorite songs or songs that have given you hope or comfort during this time?
