How much time we should wait before NOA1

We mailed the AOS application on 20th and its showing its delivered on 22nd nov. 2008 but we didn't receive NOA1 or check is not encashed yet...we sent it as priority mail with delivery confirmation...did we make a mistake? do you think it might have been lost?

Usually it takes only 2 days to get NOA1 but in our case today is 29 already so its more than a week...

How can we confirm with USCIS if they have received our mail or its lost in transit?

We applied our I130 for the children on the 15 Nov 08, used an express mail with the USPS, and arrived on 17 Nov 08, we also have not received NOA1. Keep us posted on yours but I believe they are just backed up since ours should be confirmed already as well. I'll keep you posted as well, thanks!

we need more information about your case

fill out your timeline

usually it takes 3 weeks to receive a NOA 1...(receipt notice) or can take up to 30 days depending on where you live

If you send your packet on the 20th you might get your receipt in 2 weeks or so
