I found a 1 way ticket on Hawaiian Airlines for $665.I can't find any discount sites that do 1 way from out of the country ? I also if I buy that ticket, she would change planes in Honolulu, would she go through customs there or in LA (final destination) ? They have 2 connecting flights 1st one is 2 hours later, the 2nd is 4 hours later. I am wondering if 2 hours is enough time to get through customs ?

We are trying to get a 1 way Ticket that starts in Manila and departs in Los Angeles Ca.

Thanks for any help

Honolulu would be her POE and she'd go thru immigration there.

Ask for a first time immigrant discount. PAL gives it.

I'd go for the 4 hour layover.

If it were me I would avoid LAX airport. Crowded, dirty and full of rude people.

Try to make have her change planes in SFO if possible.

Night and day difference.....

i'm looking at the prices for the same flight but i dont have a specific date yet. the price of $665 is a good deal if it includes taxes and surcharges. you may want to also check Eva air's website and as someone else suggested, farecompare.com.

The cheapest and best flight i have found on my trips to the philippines is with american airlines. We use cebu pacific from davao to manila then japan airlines to tokyo then american airlines to usa. You can book flight all the way from manila to USA thru american airlines japan website. It will include cost for japan airlines flight. PAL is the most expensive I used that the first time i fly to Phils. American Airlines the only way to fly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, AA Via Japan to USA is a little easier.

But PAL has offices all over the place in PI, and you can do a ticket change easily with PAL vs AA if you are located in PI.
