Just wanted to share the good news with you all! Hubby's interview was today at 1:30. We showed up wayyyy early which proved to be a waste of time, so make sure you just go when you're supposed to!!

The whole process took almost 3 hours, but other than the waiting, it was relatively simple.

We were called to the first window and the CO asked my hubby some general questions

-Where did we meet

-When were we married

-Where does he work, what does he do

-Why do we want to go to the USA

-Where do we plan to live when we get there

-why were you living in the usa? were you arrested while you were there?

-is this your first wife?

-How long has your wife lived in Saudi Arabia?

-Why do you want to leave Saudi Arabia if you have a good job here

-How long do you plan on staying in the USA (trick question, I'm sure)

Then we paid the visa fee, waited forever, called up again for fingerprinting, waited another hour

The second CO asked

-What were you doing in the USA when you met your wife

-what school did you go to

-Who introduced you

-was it an arranged marriage (lol)

-are you related in any way (double lol)

-Where do you plan on living? How long do you plan to live at that residence

-What kind of work will you find when you get there

-why do you want to immigrate (again)

-how long do you plan on staying in the USA (again)

So that was it! We were pretty confident going in, but all that waiting for 5 minutes of questioning was reallly stressful!

Good luck to the rest of you waiting on your interviews!
