Ok, how hard should it be for a freaking AP document??!! Its now, oh 112 days since they have recieved it and we did an inquiry when the processing timeline put out by USCIS hit March 15, our NOA date is Feb 15. We inquired at our infopass for EAD and were told they could not help us, even though we had a note from my husband's fathers doctor about the surgery he had. We have also had to miss his sister's wedding in Panama because of this #######.

Has anyone ever gotten results after a "it's officially been too long" inquiry? My sister's boyfriend who is a lawyer said there is some kind of paper he can file as well. We are about ready to just scrap this one and file another one by mail thru the Dallas office. It says on their page that we can do so, at least that's what I can understand.

I e-filed for my second AP on August 4, 2005 and received it November 1, 2005 - it had been approved October 14th the exact same time as my EAD. I had to miss an event in October as well. We had been given a 90 day time line. I could understand about the EAD taking so long since I had to wait 7 weeks for the biometrics date, but that shouldn't have affected the AP. As it was, I received the EAD a week before I received the AP.

I don't know what to suggest except perhaps trying to refile. Good luck

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

You mean someone has actually gotten a rejection letter for AP from the MSC???? Do tell, because I cannot imagine that other folks wanting to visit their home countries or take honeymoons or have weddings etc would get approved and then the next person not??..On our original petition for it sent back in Feb, we put down that we wanted to take a trip for my birthday and go to my husband's sister's wedding. Later on it came up that his dad had to have heart surgery.
