I'm curious how other couple get along after a year living together.

This is my little story:

When we were just living together and newly wedd., we were fighting. :bonk: My husband said,"I've never with woman that is hard headed as you, super picky with foods, and with an attitude!", so I replied,"You already knew me before we got married, why you want to change me now?", he didn't say anything. To make a long story short. I was an azz too. We fought infront of his mother :bonk: , I thought it was disrespectful.(My mother inlaw sent me an email with advice in it, when she get home to her house.) After all that crapped, we get along so much better. Our friends asked how long we have been together. So I asked my hubby and he said "Is like we have been living together for 10 years."

every couple fights...fighting is essential to the growth of the relationship. But you have to fight fair...by listening, respect, tolerance, and being flexible.

We get along just fine.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

You never get to truly "know" a person unless you spend time living with them...I don't care how long anyone says they spent talking online and know that person inside out....you don't...until you are dealing with life's irritations and picking up dirty underwear off the floor.

I agree with that.

Tis true.

Hopefully, though, you can use that reservoir of communication to help the 'real life' relationship. Just don't ever stop talking to each other like you did when that was all you COULD do.

It's true no matter how you meet, living with someone is different to dating. That said, hubby and I only bicker about the small stuff, like who gets to pick the laundry off the floor! :)

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

No, Mags and I are miserable.

It's because VW apparently has my balls, ya see. That has caused a real issue.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

I don't know if I would want them back. There's no telling what sick, disgusting things she has done to them.

And we still need to figure out a time to go to the gym that suits us both (he's a morning person and I hate getting out of bed in the mornings)

Is there any particular reason you need to go to the gym together?
