4. The Department presently has no information about the

extent of delay for these cases. In the meantime DHS will

send additional questionnaires to the petitioners

inquiring about their possible criminal backgrounds. When

the petition is compliant with the IMBRA, it will be

returned to post from USCIS through NVC for processing.

FIANCE PETITIONS DHS RECALL PROCEDURE

It says it right there plain as day. But, in order to feel satisfied I MUST ask. Will I recieve at my mailing address the questionaires, forms etc. that they are creating and forcing on us? Is there anything else written about it to back that up?

Up until I read that i was not sure if I would have to track the paperwork down somewhere/ or print it up from the internet. Ill be pleased if it IS sent to me in the mail. Thanks in advance to anyone responding to this question.

Well this is the million dollar question. And that post on travel.state.gov is the only place they posted anything official. It would be logical if they simply sent us an email to tell us what was happening and then sent out the questionnaires to the USC's mailing address. But the problem with that thinking is it's logical and clearly DHS is NOT. So the sad answer is there is no information - it's not clear if they are really creating a questionnaire or if they are going to mail it to us. I think that's why so many people have contacted senators and congressman - because DHS is not providing any information or direction. Hopefully someone will get something concrete from an informed senator. Otherwise, we can only sit and wait and speculate and go crazy.

Just because the State Department says that DHS will do something doesn't mean that's the policy at DHS. All we can really do now is wait. The existence of the draft revision of the I-129f seems to indicate that we'll probably get RFE mailed to us at some point this summer. Specific questions are really only going to be answered with speculation at this point.

as well as discussions about driver license and cross country trips. And my idea got beat down last week to have a factually thread about IMBRA. I look through the 100s of posts to see someone asking questions about not having a drivers license. What does that have to do with IMBRA?

And this should have been posted in the IMBRA thread, as we´re keeping it all together.
