Hello everyone,

I had a couple questions and appreciate any help or answers... I sent my I-129F to the vermont service center on oct 28th and they received it the next day (signed by M. hazuda) I still have not gotten my NOA1..?? I am starting to worry a little bit because after looking at other timelines i see everyone getting them within 2 weeks. I am at 1 month today... is that normal. I called and the lady told me that it can take 30 to 45 days and i shouldnt call back till after that time passes.. I cant track it because i used a money order.... i just need a little advice or some good news hopefully... Thanks again...

Well, a month is a little long. When a bunch of us July filers sent our stuff we had to wait almost 3 weeks so you never can tell. Have they cashed your money order? If that has happened I bet you'll be fine. If you can get a copy of it, you can find your case number and sign up on the US CIS website. That'll let you see that they actually have your case set up online which means it's there. Otherwise, you've got to wait until something shows up in the mail.

I know it's crazy, but that's how this whole thing's going to work. Slow. Just try to be patient and focus on your SO AND keep copies of everything you send to the government just incase they do lose something...

NOA 2. Really?

I would call everday during business hours of course. Your timeframe makes no sense at all just to receive the very first notice simply stating receipt of your Petition. See my timeline. Question. Did you not send your Petition Certified Mail. If so, you can at least track receipt of your Petition using the 16 digit number on the slip given to you at the USPS.

Dont panic! just check out my timeline! ha ha!

when we called up to track ours, we were told by the uscis that given our date of mailing, it would take a few days, plus a month for it to show up on their system there!
