Hi there all,

I had my POE on 26th and it went really smooth, I wasn't asked a single question. But they didn't take my X-ray report. I wonder what should I do with my X-ray report?

I did ask the POE officer and he said, they don't need my X-ray and I can submit it to any doctor I want to. I really didn't get the part of submitting to any doctor? I am not sick or anything that I need to get to the doctor or did the officer talk about any of the Immigration appointed doctors?

We had a connecting flight, so I couldn't really ask him much and had to rush to catch my flight.

Anyways hope to get some insight on this. Thanks a bunch.

Because you are CR1/IR1 you shouldn't need the x-ray again for visa purposes.

You may want to use it for medical reasons when registering with a new doctor - if they wanted to know results of past medicals for some reason.

From what I've gathered most people doing the spousal visa keep it but never need it again.

I bet most people stick it in the attic or in a drawer 'just in case'.

I'm sure some do frame it and turn it into a piece of art work just to remind them of the 'good ol' visa times'!

With all the sarcasm flying I am still unsure what to do with the X-ray.

So if anyone can give me a clear cut answer, I would appreciate that.

Throw it away... put it under your bed... This is not sarcasm but the honest truth... YOU DO NOT need it again for immigration purposes

YMMV

Yes throwing it away is best, no one will ever ask for it again. If there is ever any medical issue, the US doctors will want to do a new X=Ray anyway.

Which reminds me, I will throw away hubby's X=Ray next time we get around to organizing stored items.
