How to change embassy while case is with USCIS?

I need some information about how to get the embassy changed at USCIS. This is the situation: I originally put Islamabad, Pakistan for the embassy on the I-129F when I sent in the application, my fiance was on student visa in the UK at that time and we had thought that he would not be extending his visa so he would be interviewing in Islamabad, Pakistan, his country of citizenship. BUT...plans changed and my fiance has successfully extended his student visa in the UK for at least one more year, so now I need to get the embassy changed from Islamabad, Pakistan to London, UK. His current and residential address on the I-129F that I sent is his London, UK address.

My attorney told me at first that she would correct it for me, and then she called me saying that it would be hard to change the embassy while my file was at USCIS (currently I am awaiting my NOA2, #136 on Igor's List for CSC), and she told me to wait until I get my NOA2 and then change the embassy while my case is sent to NVC....

BUT I just called NVC and asked them for the procedure to change the embassy in the future (when they get my case), and the customer service rep. told me that for K-1, the NVC just looks at the information on the computer and sends the file to the corresponding embassy, I would not be able to change the embassy location with NVC.

So now I am planning on calling USCIS tomorrow during their business hours, and hopefully they will help me with changing the embassy!

Anyone with experience in changing the embassy location while their case was at USCIS, please offer advice/suggestions!

Thanks!

Don't know, but you can't call until Monday and expect to talk with anyone. It's a long holiday weekend for the government.

Oh yes...I forgot its the long weekend, yes I will have to wait till Monday to call USCIS...

Ok guys, so here I am giving you all an update on how I got the embassy location corrected at USCIS-CSC.

We got our NOA2 last week, today I called NVC and they received our case, and...lo and behold! They have the CORRECT embassy location. CSC actually processed our correction!

I sent them a fax, a letter, and called in a service request, and spoke to an immigration officer 3 times in order to get my correction processed while our case was at CSC, and we are so relieved that they actually corrected it!

Praise be to God!
