Hello All,

I can see in each poster signature (processing time) date and Touched.

Touched by who?

If it Touched by processing center how do you know about?

Thank you.

Touched can be something good. Simply means your file is being reviewed.

Each petition is assigned a bar-code when received (it's how USCIS keeps track of your file). Each time your file is 'touched' e.g., bar code is scanned for whatever reason (being moved, counted, worked on, etc) a record is changed (Date Last Updated). This changing of the date is what we call a 'touch.'

How do you know when your date is changed? You must first create a portfolio on the USCIS web site - there you will see any notices (like approval, RFE, etc) and a Date Last updated field (any time there is a new date, you've been touched).

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

OP... this is touched...

It can mean everything, or nothing... as every adjuticator does not scan the file... not everyone get's 'touched'.

Read more about the process here.
