Hi to all VJ members,

This is my first time to post here but im always reading discussions and it really helped me a lot. Ijust have a question, my atty submitted already our DS-230 and affidavit of support last Nov.21 and I heard in the AVR saying that they received the biographic form on NOv.25 and still awaiting for the AOS form from the petitioner, but our atty already submitted both forms what do they mean by this. Someone answer me pls.

Jul 23,2007 filed I-130

January 11,2008 approval received

Oct. 17, 2008 paid AOS and IV fee bill

Nov.21, 2008 sentAOS and IV package

I was wondering, why was it that the biographic form was the only one they received? Biographic form is one of the supporting evidence that's required for a person whose adjusting for status. If I were you, just give them a call to verify if your AOS has been submitted. Sometimes, but don't get me wrong...some atty says that the package has been submitted even it's not. Anyways, to make your time line, just sign up to your time line. Or look up and you can find "my control" click that and on the left side click "edit signature" then enter your time line and click update.

By biographic form I assume you mean the DS-230.

It sounds to me like they just haven't updated the system to reflect that they have received your I-864.

Give them a call to verify if they have received it, talk to an operator.

I suggest you do call NVC to verify if they received all those documents you sent them. It's a better way to ease all your worries and questions.

call for everything, each time i tried the automatied i got that thecase not in the system etc etc and now its complete so talk to a person and ask about your cases

I called NVC today and they really said that they did not yet receive the AOS form and biographic form is the DS-230. but when

I checked also the case number of my daughter, and on her case the AVR says documents were received it did not says that its awaiting for AOS form for my daughter. Im confused.... pls help me
