only Lucifer.

Lucifer is otherwise known as The Morning Star. aka: Venus. The literal Latin translation is "light-bringer". There is no reference in any religious text to lucifer as "Satan". There are, I believe, 2 references to "Lucifer" in the Bible, and they are comparing two very earth-bound kings to the "Day Star". One reference is in regard to a king of Babylon, and another is in regard to the king of Tyre.

The passages compare them to lucifer (the star) to show how bright and high they were at their peak, before they descended to the 'pits of fire and damnation'.

Just one of those things I need to point out when I see it, because certain Pagan religions have Lucifer as a god, and it's NOT the Christian version of "Lucifer as Satan"...it's the Greek version of Lucifer as Venus/The Morning Star.

2 Peter 1:19

19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy, unto which ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn and the day star (lucifer) arise in your hearts,

Isaiah 14:4-12

4 that thou shalt take up this parable against the king of Babylon, and say: How hath the oppressor ceased! the exactress of gold ceased! 5 The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, the sceptre of the rulers, 6 That smote the peoples in wrath with an incessant stroke, that ruled the nations in anger, with a persecution that none restrained. 7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet; they break forth into singing. 8 Yea, the cypresses rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon: 'Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.' 9 The nether-world from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming; the shades are stirred up for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; all the kings of the nations are raised up from their thrones. 10 All they do answer and say unto thee: 'Art thou also become weak as we? Art thou become like unto us? 11 Thy pomp is brought down to the nether-world, and the noise of thy psalteries; the maggot is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.' 12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O day-star, son of the morning! (lucifer) How art thou cut down to the ground, that didst cast lots over the nations!

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

interesting. . . . . . .

I simply understood Lucifer as the fallen angel cast out of heaven. I was unaware of the pretext of Lucifer as the Morning Star.

I learned something today.
