Ok we got the IIN !! at only the second attempt!

So what do we do now? Do we go ahead and pay the AOS fee online or just wait until the official bill comes in the mail?

The telephone officer said that online payment has problems... so I am kind of apprehensive to use it..

Tomorrow DS-230 will be at my wife's in the US together with my DS-3032 that I signed and sent her. EVERYTHING READY, just need to figure out what to do next and when exactly. I would like to have everything sent in 2 weeks if possible!

Online, both fees (AOS and IV) are shown as NOT INVOICED, without any fee amount, so I guess we cannot pay.

How long does it normally take for the AOS fee to become "invoiced" so that we can pay?

I thought that if I got a IIN it meant that it was invoiced already...

Have a look at the LingChe NVC Guide in the Wiki.

It should answer your questions about what to do next.

Good Luck!

Keep checking the online payment system for the AOS Fee to be invoiced. Once it shows as invoiced, you can pay it.

When the AOS Fee is invoiced, your DS3032 will be generated as well. Mail the signed copy to the NVC overnight. I found that mailing the document was much faster than sending the email.

Best of Luck!!

Thank you, I am keeping the NVC payment web checked several times per hour... I am being hopeful that it is not like the USCIS website, which I checked for MONTHS without any news! ;-)
