I just got our NVC case no! Great Thanksgiving for us!

I a not sure if Friday anyone works but will try to call and bug for the IIN.. How hard is it to get off the officer in your experience?

-Once we have the INN, can we simply check from the payment website if the AOS bill has been generated, and if yes, go ahead and pay?

-Once we have the INN, can we safely assume that the DS3032 has been generated too and therefore proceed on that front (email choice of agent), or we still have to double check with the officer to confirm it has been created?

ive heard sometimes they will give the number sometimes not, i just got mine in the first letter and went from there. You go to the online payment once u have pay and it should be accepted usually quick maybe one day send 864 with the printed cover sheet payy the 400 print cover sheet send 230 hope u have all documents ready to go and dont hve to wait, i gave few days between each step and we went fine. Most calls on any step they will automatically say give us 2-4 weeks they got our 230 on a monday and it was completed that friday

USC side, we are waiting on IRS transcripts..

Beneficiary side, all lined up, just need to send to US all the originals as I mentioned in a separate post...

If I get the IIN, I will email AND fax the DS3032, and if they don't acknowledge those in a week or so I will mail in the hardcopy.

thank you for your info: you went through NVC in one month, that's fantastic, and I wanna make that our goal too, so that we can get assigned an interview hopefully for end of Jan..

dont know if nvc will accept fax ,if mailed within the states should be only 3 days at most this is quickest, with the emails we did but it took like two weeks to get a replay and we had already also did the mail and accepted before we got a reply, (the fax part was just between me and him to get the paper signed and here for me to mail) tax transcripts come to u fast actually. They will be assigning interviews the first 2 weeks of each month. For us anyway Morocco was full for december so i would think maybe feb for you unless you get nvc completed by say the middle of december

I found that the operators would not give the IIN on the phone and it didn't slow me down not having it earlier because I still had to wait for acceptance of the Choice of Agent before the IV Fee was generated.

Since you are not ready to send your documents as yet, I would suggest waiting for the IIN in the mail.

IV fee ok -you are right-, but what about the AOS fee??

I wanted the IIN to pay for the Affidavit of Support bill. We have all the documents ready for AOS as of now, but without that IIN we cannot pay online and kick-start the process..

Documents for DS-230 can be States side by Tue if necessary, as I will use Fedex 8.00am service..

I found that the operators would not give the IIN on the phone and it didn't slow me down not having it earlier because I still had to wait for acceptance of the Choice of Agent before the IV Fee was generated.

Since you are not ready to send your documents as yet, I would suggest waiting for the IIN in the mail.

Either way, the IIN has nothing at all to do with when the DS-3032 is generated. It is generated at the same time as the AOS fee bill, so when that changed from "Not Invoiced" to "Not Paid" on the site, then you can go ahead and pay it and know that the DS-3032 was generated as well.

Brnidokiegurl is correct about the fax...if any form is missing an original signature (as is the case with a fax, scan, or photocopy), then it is useless to them.

What do you mean exactly by CHANGED ON THE SITE?

Is there a WEBSITE from which you can track the NVC process like for USCIS?

i think they are just talking about the on site payment section that you need this receipt number for, this is where it shows your accounts as pending or as paid but no other tracking other than to call that i know of, the automated systems sure never worked for me, once you can get this number and your 3032 approved you will be on your way, it just takes a while to get it going but then goes fast

i sent my DS3032 last friday,, it should get to nvc by monday, how can I get that NVC invoice ID number?

most i hear dont do good asking over the phone but i guess u can try, give it a day or two, then they will just send the info and instructions with the number etc but thinking that prob takes about at least a week. Maybe you will get a good information operator that will help

i sent u a message, your doing fine, i felt lost also but someone else helped me thru it, looking back now its not all that bad just take it one step at a time, get back with me and ill take you step by step the way i did then your choice how you want to handle it

I confirmed with an NVC operator that they're no longer allowed to give out your IIN over the phone. You have to wait to receive it by mail. Waiting for the IIN really doesn't slow you down--I and brnidokiegurl were still able to get through NVC in about a month, and msnoob made it through in just 19 days. Don't worry about it!

ok didnt know the infor about the number,but once u do get the number it goes fast so at this time just be very sure you have everything ready for the next steps, assemble, check check again and then re check again have everything done and waiting for the steps ahead
