August 03, 2010 - AOS @10:45 am - "conditional" approval pending corrected medical form by Civil Surgeon

Sept 8, 2010 - AOS Approved for 10 year Greencard!!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

There is so much to be thankful for in my life. It came with a lot of hard work, tears, and fears, but well worth it in the end.

We are only having a few people over for dinner, but my husband insisted on a 22 lb turkey. I have a feeling she is going to get real tired of turkey...lol

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

There is so much to be thankful for in my life. It came with a lot of hard work, tears, and fears, but well worth it in the end.

haha!!! Yeah- we are going to some friends... I am so used ot being the bird lady too... I made one yesterday just for nostalgia sake(did I really spell that right?! WOW!)

I am so thankful for all of my dear friends, those here and those across oceans, and my family-my handsome husband and three beautiful babies! Just can't wait for next year when we can all be together! Holidays are the hardest to get thru when your loved ones are so far away- but in the end, I will be grateful for my trials as well! Thanks for starting the thread Jackie! I am so excited for you!!!

Hopefully my darling hubby will be here by Valentines day!-- our time line looked soooo good till all this NVC #######! Now its in God's hands-it actually always has been, but I have done what I can. Inshallah my Amin will be here quick and all of your dear spouses and loved ones as well!-- Happy Thanksgiving-much love-Amy

Geez, I forgot how crabby my mom gets with cooking and stuff. I asked her to go shopping with me today (just one store) and she got all :girlwerewolf2xn: on me, saying how in the heck would she have time?? (um..the turkey takes 5 hours and dad's home to keep an eye on it :unsure: )

I managed to go to the gym this morning and work out (yay me!) and and gonna get dressed to go shopping - alone :innocent: Then come home and make the pies. Woohoo!

Jackie, you must be so excited!! :dance:

AHH!!!! I just looked at my siggy ticker and saw 1 week and literally said "aaaah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I made my poor birdie jump...LOL

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

I can so relate to your mom. The turkey may take 5 hours to cook, but in that five hours I have the rest of the meal to cook and straightened the house.

Actually I have learned an important lesson about holidays. Clean AFTER the party. Your going to have to anyway, so why do it twice?
