We went looking for xmas cards last week, normally I buy individual ones because I don't send that many, but didn't see any I really liked, so might buy a box.

So far I have bought 1 thing for my Husband and some shoes for my Nephew, his birthday is in Dec to so I normally send him 2 pairs.

We have the Hallmark Greetings Workshop cd, so I'll be making all my cards beginning next week.

I've bought gifts to go to Canada but none for anyone here yet. These men don't really do Christmas or birthdays or any kind of celebrating so I need to change that. Should prove to be interesting.

April 13, 2009 - Welcome to the USA letter rec'd. PRC to be rec'd within 3 weeks.

April 16, 2009 - 2 yr GC rec'd in mail.

March 2, 2011 - Mailed in I-751 to CSC

March 4, 2011 - I-751 delivered to CSC

March 4, 2011 - NOA issued

March 12, 2011 - NOA received

April 14, 2011 - BIO Appt 5/6/11

May 6, 2011 - BIO done in 10 minutes...no re-takes this time :)

June 27, 2011 - Email rec'd "Status - Approved"

July 1, 2011 - 10 yr GC arrived

This weekend we're going to get our tree and I have already started decorating a bit. Its our first tree together since we've always lived with eachothers parents beyond that. I haven't gone out and bought anything yet but I will. I also make a lot of gifts too so I will have to stop by Michaels to get some things.

I love Christmas and decorating. I have always found it a really fun family thing to do.

I can't wait for christmas because that means I get a holiday with my family which I am really looking forward to.

I don't know if you live by a Wal-Mart or a good dollar store, but you can sometimes find comparable Michael's items at those places for cheaper. Or, lookout for the Michael's coupons, they usually always have 40% coupons in their flyer, I bet they have some online too. I used to work there so I love love love Xmas crafts/stuff from Michael's.

I'm really looking forward to decorating our tree and Xmas. It will be my last Xmas in Toronto actually living at home it's a crapshoot where I'll spend my next xmas, so I'm savouring the moment!

Michaels and AC Moore are both great places , I find AC Moore a lot cheaper than Michaels and they have about the same selection. Every year I make a gift to go along with a gift, this year it will be clear glass ornaments, filled up with fake snow and painted.

Aww I love being crafty.

Also instead of name tags on the presents I'll be making sugar cookie gift tags wrapped in cellophane. I'll just pipe their names out with icing. Its just an excuse to bake more actually. ;)
