hi,

my wife and I have a joint sponsor since she didn't make enough on her first year (2005). Can she file a I-864EZ and her dad (joint sponsor) a I-864?

or both have to be I-864

12/03/2008 - package received

12/11/2008 - checks cashed

12/15/2008 - NAOs received dated 12/10/08

12/20/2008 - biometrics letter received dated 12/12/08

12/27/2008 - biometrics appointment @12:00pm----> Done.

02/02/2009 - NAO 2 received for initial interview dated 01/27/09

02/23/2009 - EAD received

03/11/2009 - Interview appointment @ 1030am----> Approved

03/16/2009 - Received welcome letter and e-mail from CRIS stating: Card production ordered

03/23/2009 - Received Green Card in the mail

if your wife and her dad have the same address your wife file i-864 and your dad i-864a but if they dont live the same house they should file both i-864

if your wife and her dad have the same address your wife file i-864 and your dad i-864a but if they dont live the same house they should file both i-864

yes, they do NOT live at the same address. so 2 different I-864.

i also have another question. she put my last name on the forms, what if she signed with her maiden name(old signature), would that be a problem?

or should she put her maiden name on the form?

yes 2 different form for i-864 for both of them but she still your primary sponsor eventhough she did not make enough..if shes married to you then why not using the new married name to show them that you are married.....

i don't mind her using my name and she doesn't mind either. she is just complainin about finding a new signature
