Hey everyone.

I just went to get my picture taken for the I-129F petition. All the measurements are correct but my only concern is the background. It says in the instructions on the I-129F from that it needs to be a white background but in these instructions (http://travel.state.gov/pdf/Photo%20Guide%2010-01-04.pdf) it says white or off white.

The background of my picture is kind of grey. Is this OK or do I need to get it done again.

unfortunately your thumbnail pic appears to have a darker background than probably reality... with that said you have two choices... do it again this time with a white background or "roll the dice" give a try and see what happens....

Well I really don't want to take any chances with this as I don't want any delays. I guess the safe option would be to just do it again. Gosh.

Ohh well, anyone else think it's alright or am I just being lazy?

Ya, pay is right. The white balance is off on your pic so the background looks really blue. If it's close like you say there probably wont be a problem. My fiancee's photos for the petition were the wrong size. Since she lives in Vietnam I decided not to wait for her to send new ones and I submitted anyway. We got lucky and there was no problem. But, since you haven't sent in your petition yet, why not have them redone and give yourself some peace of mind. This process can stressful enough as it is without worrying about details like this.
