Who's cooking at home?

Who's going to someone elses house to let them do all the work?

I had early thanksgiving at dads on sunday and tomorrow we'll go to my moms. My stepdad is going to try to cook this year. He called me yesterday: Lis? The turkey is 20 pounds...how long do I cook it..2 hours? I'll be going over early to help him lol

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I like the place. I also get let down when they get the storebought stuff and dont cook it right.. which is selfish on my part.. but god, spend the extra 20 dollars and get something amazing. The holidays only come one time a year

Hey, thats not selfish! If you invite people to come eat for the holidays you should know what youre doing lol

My mom never cooked much but she could always cook a mean thanksgiving meal... in our teen years, she gave that up and started buying at honey baked yum yum..no complaints

My mom doesnt cook . My aunt cooks like weird modern art cooking.. like quiche and no real turkey and authentic thanks giving stuff.. I like honey baked but she like does hams with decorations on it and weird chutney., I like cafeteria food better.. ( but I appreciate what she does if that makes any sense) I wonder how many today disasters will take place tomorrow night

We are cooking at my house. My father and grandfather are here so it will be just us three. Everyone is contributing to the cooking which is nice. We are doing it the traditional way with a baked turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, dressing, corn, pies. I can't wait until it is all ready. I never eat breakfast or anything before Thanksgiving dinner so I can have plenty of room.

got home after going to my aunts. All the kids and me went to my sons grave today and the stone was up and it was hard but we needed to. We then went on to see my aunt and had thanks giving. There is a park close to the cemetary and I took their pictures by a lake surrounded by trees. It wasnt as bad as I thought and it was important for my mom to see all the kids all together and dressed up. I survived today and it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. seeing my sons tombstone was very very hard but I enjoyed having my kids by my side...Some things are not describable.. but in time they can become bearable
