Well, we'll have it filed today......Pat has to go back to the medical clinic to pick up something they forgot...grrrr! Then he's headed straight for the post office and sending it off!

LOL...I know...but at least that's 1 year and 9 months of not thinking of the USCIS.....

How's the weather there today?

Yikes, do you use that clinic also for the regular stuff?

Johnny got a letter from USCIS today saying they have transferred our case to the CSC; maybe we won't have to go through an interview. Fingers crossed? haha

I just received my NOA-1 and thought I'd pass out just from waiting for THAT! The next few months will be PAINFUL!!!!!!!

Hi and welcome!! Feel free to share more about you and your fiance!! I'm from Texas and my husband is from Den Haag. He got his Visa in August and has been here since October! You'll be there before you know it!!!

Most of us have already been through the K-1 and are in the AOS process now so if you have ANY questions, please let us know!!

I hope that it's not too painfully long and that your processed VERY fast!! Thankfully the Netherlands is a pretty easy country to process through!

From what I understand, it usually is good news.

We had the same letter and right now several people who filed after us are getting their interview date.

So I hope we are off the hook for the interview.

Btw, you will get another note soon, we got it and it confused me, but it just confirms that they have taken on your case.

Most of us are ready for our AOS.

As for me, I arrived in the US about 6 months ago and am living with my husband and son in Pennsylvania.

I'm prepping myself for things to come. I just checked out the consulate link here:

and it says something about an "international (!) birth certificate"

The (!) makes me think this is something out of the ordinary.... is it just a regular birth certificate?

I know because my husband had to go and get a copy of his since he didnt' have one that in Holland they have what is called an "international" birth certificate. That just means that it has it in other languages and not just Dutch. When Pat got his, it had it in Dutch, English, French, German and one other that I can't remember now(probably Spanish but not sure). All you have to do is ask for this particular one from the city office where your fiance lives and they should be able to give him one without any problems.

As far as your birth certificate...since it's already in english you don't have to worry about it.
