Pat started mailing me boxes of some of the little things he wanted to have here. I've gotten four so far and they get heavier with each shipment..lol! It IS fun to open them though and see that is inside..lol! He even sent my daughter what she calls her "Pat Bear"...a cute little stuffed bear laying on a pillow that snores..hehe!

Aww, that is cute.

How are things going with the house, are you ready to move in yet?

Have another bit of news, my Mom and Dad want to come over for our wedding, so we can't get married before October, but that is ok I guess.

Never thought they would come over already.

Anyway, hope you guys are all ok, it is Friday!!!!!

Sigh, never thought I would miss a job, but I sure do miss mine

But work enough to do, have to remove all the carpet from this house (it is a rental)

hehe..I thought it was so sweet of him! My daughter seriously has him wrapped around her little finger..lol!

The house is going really well....We officially moved in last week even though there are still things that need to be done, they aren't things that would keep us from being able to live there. I still need to paint some of the rooms and Pat will finish that and the painting of the outside when he gets here. I think we'll be working on it for at least the next 6 months to get it into really REALLY good shape.

YAY! Happy to hear your parents are going to make it for the wedding!! Do you have any wedding plans made yet?

LOL, know how you feel, have been taking apart stuff here, so hard work also.

But, I don't have work to go to anymore.

hehe..i wish it had to do with things here...like Pat coming home or something but no such luck yet..lol! Next Saturday is our local festival and parade so I'm taking my daughter to that in the morning. And then a friend's niece is having what is called a quincenera....it's something hispanic families do for their daughters 15th birthdays. Not sure if you have something like that there.....anyway, it's a huge party/dinner and Jessie and I are going to that Saturday night!

I hope it will be, after spending the last month doing nothing but working on the house every weekend I need a bit of fun..lol!

To this culture it is...it's pretty neat and I can't wait for Jessie to see how they do it, I think she'll be fascinated by the whole thing..lol!

YAY! Tomorrow is Pat's medical!! I'm glad it's finally here and we can get this step done! AND...the coolest part about tomorrow....Pat gets to meet Blu's fiance John!! They have their medical AND interviews on the same day so they are going to try to meet up tomorrow before their appointments!!

Our petition is currently flying over Atlantic Ocean to Amsterdam Would be so nice to have an interview in September when I am visiting Maarten. Maybe we will meet VJ'ers at the interview to :)

YAY!! Great news Anna...things should go pretty fast now. When in September will you be in Holland? It usually takes about 4-6 weeks from the time the Consulate gets Packet 3 back to when you have your interview....so hopefully that works!!!

Well, Pat passed the medical with no problems. He had to get a couple of shots but he said the whole things was really easy! He and John met up but I don't have any of the details from that yet..lol!

John said the place looked dirty and old. He said if you didn't have a disease when you went in...you might when you left...lol...he also said Patrick was a really nice guy and we are all doing lunch the day of the interview.
