I am totally from the South of the Netherlands, Zeeland. Actually its Zeeuws Vlaanderen cuz we're just above Belgium. Where is ur fiance from?

We called yesterday to the USCIS to ask about our case since its 3 months now since NOA1, and they couldnt give any information. Just saying they are currently processing April 15, 2008!!! Thats not totally tru cuz i read a november filer (which we actually are too) got approved already....

Currently processing APRIL??? Those people are nuts I think! I've seen some from Oct/Nov/Dec already getting their NOA2!! I sure hope you hear something soon though!!!

Liz, have a wonderful time with your fiance. <3 To answer your question, I personally filed at a local post office. The wait in line wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and the cost certainly wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Isn't it amazing how big those files can get, though?

As for me - I'm back after experiencing some computer problems. My hard drive decided to die on me, so some of my friends came by to help me fix that, in addition to changing around some things. So.. yay, everything's in working order. And today, I found out that my fiance received his Packet Three, so that's exciting. After some talking, though, we're definitely going to try to push back the interview date for a little while.

Hi Nikki...glad you got your computer fixed and are back here with us!!!

And thanks...I know we'll have a great time...I just can't wait to see him again. I'm sitting here with my cell phone in my lap waiting for his text saying he made it through customs in Houston without any problems. Only THEN will I be able to relax knowing he's been allowed in and will be on his way to San Antonio in a few hours!!!

Hope you both are having a good time and get your papers finally filed

Tell Patrick that I took a long walk on the beach in Kijkduin last weekend.

We had our annual greyhound winter walk there.

So I must have been close.

Slowly I am starting to think about how to handle getting my stuff over also.

So if anyone has a good idea, no furniture here, but mostly clothes, tons of books, my sons toys and stuff that I gathered over the years which I would like to bring.

A family meeting last Friday made clear that my family is interested in taking over most of my stuff.

So much that I have to make sure they know I still need it for a while to come.

But I am getting anxious already, after we finally filed, I want it done asap.

Having to wait until this fall feels like way too long.
