So, today, TamTu went to the embassy to provide the signature that they told him they were missing. While he was there, he asked the lady many times "Are you suuuure there's nothing else that I need?" She laughed, and said she was absolutely sure there wasn't anything else. She told him that they were going to send him his passport, along with the sealed package, and not to open it.

Finally, we're approved. :D!

Ri - any updates on your case-status? :)

I hope everyone's day is going great. :D

No we didn't get more touches or what ever, so i guess it was just we did call had to tell our receipt number and they put it in like an update ;-)

I am just kidding though, we will see.

there are no approvals since May 14 at any I-130 (still people from March are waiting)! Because they work at work visa.

I am sorry to hear about your uncle Liz.

Thanks, haven't heard anything yet.

I am curious also, since this isn't just about me, but my son also.

I would like to get my paperwork together, but have no clue where to start, can anyone help me out here?

It is probably right before my nose, but my head is spinning with too much stuff going on.

Not a good idea to start a new job, study and do a visa journey all together.

I'm sure you'll get something soon...I don't think it takes too long to get the Packet 3!

I know there are places on here that talk about it, but each consulate is different so it's hard to know how accurate the information would be.

Hey Liz,

I am sorry to hear about your uncle.

Wow Douwe Egberts coffee? cool! my husband loves it and also the marines at the base! LOL!

I always take it with in my suitcase! My husband took it with 1 time and I think it was in his hand bag and they checked it at the customers, he told them what it was and they opened it up to smell it! LOL! We had a good story about that! So he told them it was for the Marines at the base than they were like: You should tell us earlier that you are in the USMC than we didn't open it up... I think that is silly because even if he is in the USMC they should still check him! but well... we did smile about it!

Have a nice day!

First, Liz, my deepest sympathies regarding the news of your uncle. :(

Peet, the forms they're going to ask you to fill out can be found here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k1forms The ones you are looking for are the DS-156/156k, and DS-230, I do believe. I'm not entirely certain if you have to fill out all three, but since you're looking to get ahead of the game, it couldn't hurt to fill out all of them. You can find examples for them here. Make sure your fiance sends you last year's tax information, as well as three recent paystubs. You may also want to start collecting evidence that shows that your relationship has been ongoing since petitioning.

..Although, honestly, you probably won't need it. Better safe than sorry, however. :)

As for us -- He got the visa in the mail today. Thanks, everyone, for your kind words from my last post. To answer your question, Liz, his last day of work is at the end of August, so he won't be moving out here until at least September. :)

Sorry for being so late with responding to everything. It's been quite a hectic week - I'm leaving for Holland next Monday with my entire family [and with my mom, who got her passport today!], so I've been running around a lot, trying to get everything ready. I can't wait to see him again. :D

Hope everyone's having a great week!
