I was wondering if I was seeing things...lol! I'm waiting for Pat to come online, he should be getting home from work about now.

Wow....it sounds like you have so many things going with getting your dogs here! Pat is hoping to bring his cats but we're not sure how much its going to cost us and if we'll be able to afford it. I really don't want him to have to leave them....they are so special to him!

Cats cost me about 100-110 each with American if I recall correctly. Various rules include things like only during certain temperatures do they fly them, so spring or fall is best. It's not that difficult to do, but we did need them to get a "pet passport" with all their jabs done.

It looks like it got raised to 150 a pet for cargo hold storage as of May 2008 and cabin pets are no longer allowed on international flights for AA.

I will keep all of you updated! We didnt even really expect it yet! U see ppl getting approved but we thought nahh they just are lucky and we prob have to wait longer. We started a little bit with preparing next steps, but we dont have the I134 ready yet. But we'll work on it now! Still cant believe it!!

yeah, that's more like European style icing. On the odd occasion I have made fairy cakes (what we call cupcakes), any icing would be 1/3 real butter, 2/3 icing sugar and then some flavor like vanilla extract, coconut powder (ground), cocoa powder, lemon drizzle, etc, etc.

I'm not your typical man, I have a passion for cooking, so I'll let you know if I find any decent recipes! Mainly because I then get to eat good food, but that's besides the point hehe.

Uhm yesterday i think it said something like between March 22 and somewhere in April...like april 14th..never really watched it that close but since yesterday there were kinda alot of october/november approvals on vj i thought what about my timeline, so pretty sure was something like this.

Lol yeah im trying;) Made a checklist of stuff we have to do now..and for the interview. its prob not everything but its a little guide for ourself. John just got a letter from his employer so there we go with that;) another step closer. I think on the approval letter there are instructions.

I know, thought wed get approved somewhere like march/april. But its def earlier as we thought! And so many ppl from sept/oct still are waiting, feel little bad because they were first..but yeah it is how it is and we def are thrilled!

Ha i keep checking the uscis site for the case status, still cant believe that it popped up this afternoon! Wasnt able to check in 4 months...now finally we are and i keep doing it gives a good feeling reading it!
