between the noa2 and having the visa in hand was about 2 months but that was 2,5 years ago.

Thanks ! :)

I got a another question, How do we obtain the policecertificate? I read that we do need to get it ourself, I found a form online but what questions do I check when it says specific screening profile? And what do I send with it?

if your talking about the VOG form 2.2 is overig and visum and imigration 2.3 is 06 imigration. You have to print out and bring to supporting letter too.

So I have my AOS interview coming up next week on the 16th. I kind of completely forgot about it. I've just been busy with actually living here and also we're moving to a new apartment soon that it didn't really seem like something I paid much attention to :P

So other than the things they request for in the interview letter (which is basically a copy of the stuff we already sent in). Is there anything extra I should bring? I plan to bring some papers showing some utilities in my name, the lease of our new place with my signature on it and an employment letter from my employer.

I've no idea what to expect from this interview. But honestly I'm not worried about anything, actually kind of excited to go around and see things in Boston after our interview date as well. Kind of using this as an excuse to explore Boston :P

February 15th - sent package to Dallas. Took a long time to get to Dallas because of weather conditions and delays.

March 3rd - NOA1.

March 5th - Received alien registration number.

August 21st- NOA2.
September 8th - NVC received package and assigned case #
September 11th - Embassy received package.
September 16th - Received Packet 3.
September 17th - Sent packet 3 back.
September 23rd - Received packet 4.
October 14th - Medical.
October 21st - Interview. - Interview approved, visa granted!

November 1st - Moving to the U.S.

Hello Fellows

Do anybody has an idea how long it takes for you to receive your pasport back from the US Consulate in Amsterdam?

I went to an Interview but wasint completed because the chief immigrant officer asked me for more proof of dochuments, which really delayed but i finally got everything in hand and i was being told to mail everything after i have everything complete with my original Pasport so that they will be taking a decision and get back to me! But after mailing everything i later phoned the embassy and they confirm they have everything but they will get back to me as soon as possible...i have been waiting more than 2weeks and still not hearing from them

Please any ideas will be very helpfull

Thank you all

i would give them i call. I remember some friends of mine didn't had everything on the first interview and went for a 2nd interview a couple weeks (believe it was 4) later. But they never had to send the passport in.

Awesome! I hope everything goes/went well for you today :) I was lucky and didn't need an AOS interview.

My fiance's interview with the consulate in Amsterdam is tomorrow. He is soooooooo nervous and now it's making me nervous!!

Haha I know the feeling. But there is nothing to be nervous about, they call it an ''interview'' but lol it's not. There are like 10 or more people in the same room. and you just wait until somebody calls your name and you just stand and talk with a lady or men for a few minutes and see if you have everything they need. You sit down for a few minutes. Somebody else calls your name and you stand again he/she ask you some question and he either says congratulations you are approved or not.

Can get the mail with the interview date everytime now ! I really hope we still make it before christmas.

I really wished the consulate would start writing emails instead of sending letters.
