Nevermind, I got it. I am indeed just blind :P

February 15th - sent package to Dallas. Took a long time to get to Dallas because of weather conditions and delays.

March 3rd - NOA1.

March 5th - Received alien registration number.

August 21st- NOA2.
September 8th - NVC received package and assigned case #
September 11th - Embassy received package.
September 16th - Received Packet 3.
September 17th - Sent packet 3 back.
September 23rd - Received packet 4.
October 14th - Medical.
October 21st - Interview. - Interview approved, visa granted!

November 1st - Moving to the U.S.

Our interview date is on the 28th at 1330. I just got the letter in the mail. However it doesn't say where or how I have to pay. Just that I have to register at usvisa-info.com. There I don't see an option to pay. How do I actually pay?

That's strange. After you confirm your interview date online it should take you to the payment screen, or at least mine did. It asked whether I wanted to finish the confirmation by paying the fee with debit or creditcard. Is there any way you can go back into the appointment screen and finish? According to this link https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-nl/niv/information/fee the payment should be right after confirmation :wacko:

Got a letter a few days ago from USCIS about my AOS.''Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. Presently, we anticipate that delay to be approximatley 6 months from the date of this letter.''

More waiting! Well at least we heard something from them after a few months, it is always nice to know where they are with your case.

I was approved yesterday at my interview, happiness :D

Couple of questions for those that were also approved. How long did the CAEC website stay in the additional processing stage?
And how long did it take before you got your passport back? I see that AlissaCarly got his/her on a Saturday after he/she was approved Tuesday so after 4 days. Is this about the same for everyone else?

Congratulations! I was approved in March on a Tuesday too and I got my passport back on Saturday. They told me it only takes a few days to get it back. So I guess it's the same for everyone else most of the time :P

Sure did :) I received an e-mail from the consulate that Friday telling me it had been shipped and I received it the next day, with yellow package and my birth certificate. Bet yours will be back soon!

I got that letter too but was approved 4 weeks later. Hopefully you don't have to wait that long.

Doesnt the ambassy arange for the vog? I didn't had to do anything for it. If I remember it right. All documents have to be in English or have been certified translations so i would make sure you have to do it yourself or the ambassy does it for you.

I know this is old-ish, but no, the consulate in Amsterdam will not get your VOG for you anymore. You have to order it yourself.

So another quick question, before I go and spend 60 euros when I don't really have to.

For the social security number, the instructions say that I need 2 pieces of ID. But everyone says that they only needed their passport and an I-94 (not sure about the number?) that you get online since recently.

So should I get an ID kaart as well or will my passport + that paper be enough to apply for a SSN?

Nope, approved without an interview. It came as a complete surprise to me. Just happen to check my status that day and it was a very nice surprice. No email no text just a website telling me a was approved.

Cool! Well my letter also say ''this means that we may not need to interview you to complete your application. However, if we later determine that an interview is required, we will schedule an appointment.'' So we will see what happens :)
