I saw someone do this for another month and thought it would be fun for us approved in November to help each other through the next step of this journey. Here we can watch how others proceed and what there times are ect. I know watching others timelines helped me to get through the beginning while waiting for the Approval..

I was approved in Nov.

Our case is already on it's way to the embassy!

Today I'm working on the Affidavit of Support and will be sending that to him early next week. He hasn't received Packet 3 yet but will start working on it this week from online information. I wanted to do all this sooner but he insisted we wait until the latest possible so we'd have the most up-to-date information.

The embassy in Frankfurt has a wait time for interviews of about 1 month, so we expect his interview in the end of December at the earliest - but more likely in January. This works well for us because the earliest he can move here is February 2009. Out wedding is planned for March 27, 2009.

That's all our info. What's your story? What are your plans? Anyone?

Hiya, we was approved on the 20th. I just spoke with someone this morning at NVC and it was sent to the embassy in London yesterday sooo Keith should be getting the packet 3 in a few weeks. yayy.. We are planning a feb.09 wedding , I am so happy that we are getting so close

We rang NVC, and they expected our paperwork to be on the way the first of the week. We did get the new case number.

We were approved in Vermont 3rd November, was received at NVC 10th November received in the UK 19th November and I received packet 3 on the 24th November so 3 weeks from approval to recieving packet 3.

Had my MMR and TDAP jabs at the doctors yesterday

Medical booked for the 19th November

Waiting for the police report to arrive sent off for that on the 26th November

Sent idiot notes to the boy to fill in affidavit of support, which I will pick up from him when I see him at Christmas

Forms completed and ready to send when I get back on the 5th Jan, we decided to spend Christmas together thats why we are delaying sending the forms back

They told us at NVC Last night that isn't the case, that we have been in AP since the 21st November, that it is still flagged as in AP, and that they cannot say where our case is. Not where it is in the system.... where it physcially is.

You can have the US citizen call the department of state (202 663 1225). They will be able to tell you lots of info including:

1. when the package was sent

2. when the packet 3 was mailed out

3. if an interview is scheduled
