i got my visa today but i have a small problem because when we file the papers at the NVC its my old passport but i renew it even it is not yet expired...

Ah. I thought you were going to say the problem was the visa was on your hand. Because that would be silly. It would wash off. That's why a visa IN your hand is so much better.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

yeah my visa is placed on the new passport already but the passport number on my visa is still my old passport number and wouldnt match the new passport number but i am not worried too much but i just dont have to have a problem at my port of entry......thank you.....

the way I read the post..the visa is already placed in the new one. The old passport should no longer be valid (did they cut the corner of it or drill holes or mark it as cancelled/invalid). What exactly are you worried about...the paperwork not matching the new passport number? I don't see a problem as the visa is in the "correct" passport....wouldn't hurt to carry both together when travelling.
