Hi there. I was just wondering since im gathering information right now so i'll know what has to be done when the time comes for the interview and medicalexam etc.

My question to you VJ folks is: There is a list of doctors that does the visa medical and no one else can do it, like my pvt doctor? And if its so, where can i find this list of doctors that can do this in sweden? is there even a list? Thank you for reading!

One love, two hearts, One joint mind. This is a once in a lifetime kind of love...

You maybe given a list with your packet 3. I know in the UK there is only one surgey authorised to do visa medicals.

I found this on one of the Swedish Embassy websites

Do I have to get a medical exam?

Persons immigrating to the United States must be examined by the Embassy's physician to establish that they are not afflicted with any form of mental illness or dangerous contagious disease, such as tuberculosis or AIDS. An appointment for this purpose will be arranged when the final stage of the visa application is reached.

The doctor who performs your K-1 medical must be a panel physician. There should either be a list on the Embassy website and/or here on VJ. When you deal with the doc's in the states they are civil surgeons.

another link

if you search uscis.gov or cdc website you will find lots of information
