Obama is a warmonger!

Is that like a fishmonger? ;)

exactly like one!

Obama is a warmonger!

With this pick and the rumored "I'll obliterate Iran" Hillary pick for SecState, it sure seems so.

You're silly.

Are you completely anti-war? Doubt it.

I am. Can I still play???

Sure. You elected a warmonger!

:jest:

Of course I'm not completely anti war.

No surprise as Afghanistan has been ignored for most of the campaign except as a place for Obama to rattle his saber and renew the hunt for Bin Laden.

Which has always been a joke. If this government was EVER serious about him they'd have got him already.

The only thing that's apparent is Osama bin Laden is some sort of carrot to dangle above our heads to remind us of "terrorism" to justify excessive DOD spending on making bombs and being in a state of perpetual war.

And if one didn't guess why I didn't vote for Obama, this is why -- business as usual.

Yeah... when Bush said "I'm really not concerned about him" it was obvious what was going on. 9/11 was exploited for the purposes of presenting unilateral war as legitimate "defense".

The idea of getting Bin Laden is harder than it sounds and everyone claiming it would be so easy aren't exactly mounting their own mission to collect the $25 million reward and fame that would come with it. If Obama and company caught Osama, then your claims would be justified. DOD spending is high whether there's a war or not so that's not the big driver behind the current conflicts.

"Unilateral war"? That's not exactly possible because you'd have one side slaughtering a side not fighting back or having very limited means to strike back. The current wars are asymeterical in that the U.S. has huge military advantages it can't bring to bear in the narrow streets of Baghdad and sweeping mountain ranges in Afghanstan. Even now there's talk that the world's mightest navies can't blockade one of the poorest countries, Somalia and her pirates. The enemy only needs to keep planting a few IEDs and some sniper fire to keep up the wars.

Well you'd think that getting bin Laden would be a priority...

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

It's not.

I'm sure getting Bin Laden isn't easy - just pointing out that Bush turning around one day after making public statements to the effect of "get him dead or alive" and essentially saying that he's not important made it abundantly clear that an agenda was being pursued that had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks.

On the bolded - that's something the shitkicker should have thought of being he blundered into billions worth of debt and tens of thousands of deaths.

I think Bush has bin Laden locked in the cellar of the White House and he will bring him out on innauguration day to steal Obama's thunder and to save his legacy.
